Before leaving, I picked a small bag of "Salad Olive" and went home to taste it. I also picked up the green papaya and cooked it home.

"Shape Olive" is one of the most favorite Nanyang fruits for foreign migrant workers in Southeast Asia. There are few types of planting in Taiwan, but it can be seen near the industrial area. It is probably planting because of the immigrant workers' taste.

Unripe pears and olives can be cooked with pork ribs and made into salads; the fruit is as sour as green mangoes, and can also be used to cure them into honey. Mango green bean paste is called "Lovers' Fruit". Compared with Sand Pear Olive Bean paste, it is called "Nanyang Lover's Fruit". The two taste slightly different, and they taste the same "smooth mouth".

San pear olive ripening process, the core in the center is the same as that of mango, and it begins to "fixed and vegetative" and becomes seeds. However, its core is roughly dimensional, and the overall core looks like a "coronavirus". After ripe olives and mangoes, the peel will turn yellow, which is a hot fruit that brings sweetness in the sour. The sweet and sour taste can be eaten directly, made into juice or made into fruit sauce.

Shape Ribs

Although it is said that olive olives can be boiled directly without peeling, I still have the habit of removing the skin and then cooking the soup. There are pears in the refrigerator, so I put the pot and cooked pork ribs together to add sweetness.

Ingredients: olive pear, pear (Apple), pork ribs, salt

Method:

1. Peel pear, peel and cut into pieces.

2. Blanch the ribs and remove the blood and remove them.

3. Add another pot of water, add olive, pear, and ribs and cook for 20 to 30 minutes, add salt and taste.

● Pear (Apple) helps soften the meat and enhances sweetness. Add apple puree when marinating.

● It is not bad to add wolfberry and red rice to cook together.

Med "Nanyang Lover Fruit"

Treat the unripe pears and olives as mango greens, and add chili to marinate them. In addition to enhancing the flavor, they taste more full of Nanyang style. If the core of an unripe pear has been "fixed" and it is difficult to cut the pulp, it will be more convenient to cure the whole body directly and taste better.

Ingredients: Unripe olive, pepper, salt, sugar

Method:

1. Peel the olive olive, boil it in water, add the whole sauce and blanch it, and then turn yellow and then pick it up.

2. Sprinkle salt for one or two hours, remove water, kill green, and remove sugar.

3. Take out the soaked water and reduce the salt.

4. Add chili and sprinkle with sugar. Put it in the refrigerator for two or three days, and it will be more delicious in seven days.

● Plum, plum powder and licorice can be added to add flavor when marinating.

● If you are afraid of being too scattered, in addition to soaking in water for a while, you can also use sugar to replace salt to drain the water.

Vietnamese-style olive green papaya salad

Since it is Nanyang style, I would like to ask my fellow Vietnamese lady Huang Yao to teach her from a distance. I asked seriously and cautiously, and the lady answered very happily: you can add some cilantro, such as cilantro, nine-layer tower, mint leaves, etc., to personal preference, and add seafood and meat. The combination of this salad is beyond imagination. There are many kinds of ingredients and are not resistant to erection, and it is very "plastic".

Ingredients: olive pear, green papaya, husband, chili, cilantro, mint leaves (cilantro according to preference), peanuts or peach pits, meat (pig, beef, chicken), seafood (sakes, snatches, etc.)

Sauce:

Fish: sugar: lemon juice = 1:2:3 (use this as a reference, and then reduce according to taste)

Method:

1. Peel and pick the meat and cut the peppers, cut the green papaya, husband, and crush the peanuts.

2. Boil in water, add the pear and blanch it, and then turn yellow and then lift it up. Meat, seafood and cooked.

3. Green papaya, yellow pear, olive, add salt to remove water, kill green, and remove sugar.

4. Remove the salt water by olive and green papaya, soak it in water for 10-20 minutes to reduce the degree of sanitation, and take it out and remove the moisture.

5. Mix the above treated materials.

6. Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with crumbled peanuts.
