Improve asthma and prevent ovarian cancer risks? Another 2 vitamin D myths break

The three gifts were just announced before (2020-8-5) and Vitamin D: Another myth was broken, and two more Vitamin D myths were exposed in this gift. In fact, I have written my handshake after slander about Vitamin D, so today I simply wrote these two recent happenings together.

Yesterday (2020-8-25) Journal of the American Medical Association JAMA published Effect of Vitamin D3 Supplementation on Severe Asthma Exacerbations in Children With Asthma and Low Vitamin D Levels (The impact of supplementary vitamin D3 on severe asthma aggravated children with low vitamin D asthma).

This article first introduces that many past studies have found that insufficient vitamin D is positively related to asthma in children, but taking vitamin D supplements does not seem to improve asthma in children. Therefore, this new study hopes to see if vitamin D supplements can improve asthma in children through some adjustments to experimental conditions (such as filtering of subjects and dose of vitamin D).

This study was jointly participated by seven American medical centers including the University of California and Harvard University. The screening recruited a total of 192 children aged 6 to 16. Half of them ate 4,000 vitamin D3 a day, and half of them took comfort drugs every day, which lasted for nearly a year (48 weeks).

As a result, 36 children with vitamin D had at least one serious asthma, while 33 children with comfort had at least one serious asthma. In addition, the time for severe asthma in Vitamin D is 240 days on average, while the set of comfort agents is 253 days.

means that in terms of a single numerical number, the vitamin D group actually performs worse. Of course, in terms of statistical research, there is no meaningful difference between these two groups.

Based on this data, the conclusion of this article is that vitamin D3 supplementation did not significantly improve the time for severe asthma aggravation in children with persistent asthma and low vitamin D levels compared to comfort drugs. The results of the study do not support the use of vitamin D3 supplements to prevent severe asthma in children.

A European Journal of Clinical Nutrition published Association between vitamin D/calcium intake and 25-hydroxyvitamin D and risk of ovarian cancer: a dose-response relationship meta-analysis (Connection between vitamin D/calcium intake and 25-hydroxyvitamin D and ovarian cancer risk: a scallion analysis of dosage response relationship).

This ceramic analysis also first introduced that many past studies have found that insufficient vitamin D is positively related to the incidence of ovarian cancer, but whether taking vitamin D supplements can reduce the risk of ovarian cancer cannot be determined.

This sci-finding analysis selected 21 published related articles, and the survey subject Gao Da will cover nearly one million. Such a huge analysis result is that vitamin D intake cannot reduce the risk of ovarian cancer.

Vitamin D was discovered about 100 years ago to treat rizzy children. In the past 100 years, I have done all kinds of experiences in fighting cancer, anti-harm, preventing the elderly from being stupid, controlling blood sugar, lowering blood pressure, reducing fat, protecting the heart, protecting bones, and even the latest COVID-19 (please see Vitamin D fighting the COVID-19, with two holes in one mouth).

As a result, vitamin D is the most effective bone protection effect. Please read the biggest analysis in history: Vitamin D is useless.
