The fourth stage of the Asian preliminaries of the World Cup has ended. Qatar and Saudi Arabia have advanced. All eight teams in Asia that have direct access to the World Cup have been confirmed.

The 8 teams from Asia for the 2026 World Cup: Japan, Iran, South Korea, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Australia, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.

It is worth mentioning that Uzbekistan and Jordan participated in the World Cup for the first time in history, and Qatar advanced through the qualifiers for the first time.

The United Arab Emirates and Iraq have entered the fifth round, and the two teams will compete for the Asian cross-continental playoff qualifications.
