The Athletic reported that Manchester United executives have held face-to-face talks with Ipswich striker Drapp Jr. and have made progress in the process of buying Wolves Cunha.

It is reported that 22-year-old Drapp Jr. has obtained permission from Ipswich to go to Manchester to learn about the details of the transfer to Old Trafford. Many clubs, including Chelsea, are interested in participating in the competition. Drapp Jr. is expected to conduct substantive negotiations with all pursuers before deciding where they are going. He scored 12 goals in his first season in his personal Premier League season, and the termination clause (£30 million) in his contract was triggered due to Ipswich's relegation.

Meanwhile, Manchester United's negotiations with 25-year-old Brazilian international Cunha are also moving forward, with the deal expected to reach an agreement when the transfer window opens on June 1. The negotiations are currently focusing on Cunya’s personal terms and the two sides are working to reach an agreement. Although Manchester United has not communicated directly with Wolves on the payment of Cunha’s £62.5 million termination fee, Wolves is expected to accept installments, and its contract stipulates that the transfer fee is paid in three phases (the first fee is paid when signing, and half each in the following two years), it remains to be seen whether Manchester United will strive for more preferential terms.

Regardless of the outcome of the UEFA Cup final against Tottenham on Wednesday (the winner will be locked in next season's Champions League qualification), Manchester United have the financial resources to sign Delapp Jr. and Cunha, who are also considering other forward goals, including Mbemo of Brentford, Yorkie of Portugal and Osmeen of Naples.
