Post news, Liverpool insiders revealed that Jeremy Frimpong is expected to be injured for about six weeks, which is undoubtedly another heavy blow to the sluggish defending Premier League champions.

Since his transfer from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer window, the Dutch full-back has had a difficult initial stage of his return to England. Frimpong had missed several early-season games due to a hamstring injury.

In last Wednesday's 5-1 victory over Frankfurt, he limped off early due to the recurrence of an old injury. He has been sidelined for a week and the most likely return time target is set at the beginning of December.

The Red Army, which has lost 6 of its 7 games recently, will face Aston Villa, Real Madrid and Manchester City in the next 10 days, and then enter the international break period. In the next 17 days starting from November 22, the team will face 6 fierce games-Nottingham Forest (home), PSV Eindhoven (home), West Ham United (away), Sunderland (home), Leeds United (away), Inter Milan (away). Frimpong is expected to return during the post-international break.

The only pure right back who is healthy at present is Connor Bradley, a Northern Irishman who has also been troubled by injuries. Calvin Ramsey was Liverpool's standout performer in Wednesday night's defeat to Crystal Palace and can be used as a substitute if necessary, although Joe Gomez and Dominic Szoboszlai are more likely to take up the role.
