"The Sun" reports that Salford City has made a major renovation of their home court before the next game.

The club, owned by members of Manchester United's Class of 92, including Gary Neville and David Beckham, announced on Thursday that stadium managers had added two new fan zone roofs for Saturday's game against Oldham.

This is the first meeting between Salford City and Oldham since 2022, when Salford City's victory caused the visiting team to be relegated to the National League. To commemorate this duel, Salford City management specially installed new roofs in the West Stand fan area and the visiting team fan area to provide better protection. This move is part of Salford City's continuous improvement plan at home.

Salford City is currently ranked ninth in English League Two. After a strong performance at the beginning of the season, they have not won in the past three league games. First, they lost 1-2 to Bristol Rovers, then lost 0-2 at home to Grimsby, and last weekend suffered a 0-2 defeat at Chesterfield. However, during this downturn, Salford City still defeated Stockport in the English Championship.
