The Sun reported that FIFA asked all Club World Cup personnel to hide their documents in case the TV screen was falsified after it was leaked.

After Bayern's 10-0 victory over Auckland City, Bayern players including England captain Harry Kane were asked by FIFA officials to remove or flip their documents. When the player asked why, he was told that the move was to prevent malicious use of the document information.

According to reports, the QR code on the ID allows players, coaches and logistics personnel to enter the core area of the stadium through security, including locker rooms, mixed areas and exclusive private rooms for various venues and clubs. FIFA is concerned that if the ID is clearly exposed in TV or social media interviews, the QR code may be photographed and copied to create fake certificates, causing unauthorized persons to break through security and enter the restricted area.

This regulation will be strictly implemented in every game. The provision that this document cannot be exposed also applies to event reporting media. Certified journalists and broadcasters are not allowed to display Club World Cup documents on social media or TV.
