Liverpool coach Slott confirmed that the team's defender Joe Gomez withdraws from the Asian preseason tour due to injury.
Slott said this: "He was certainly with us in the first half of this week, but he had some problems with his Achilles tendon. We thought it would be better to have him go back to England to evaluate the situation and then try to get him back to the team."
"Maybe it's more ideal for him. So, we decided to get him back to England, but we hope and look forward to him coming back soon."
