Immediately remove water, mud and dirt from the mouth and nose of the affected dog, wrap your fingers with gauze (handkerchief) and pull the affected dog's tongue out of the outlet, keep the respiratory tract unobstructed, and then sag the dog's head and pour water. 2. Artificial respiration should be performed immediately when breathing stops: Steps to perform artificial respiration for the dog: ① Make the dog lie sideways; ② Remove the dirt blocking the respiratory tract in the mouth; ③ Press the ribs next to the shoulder blade with both hands and squeeze the air in the lungs; ④ Quickly release your hands. Repeat the two actions ③ and ④ until the dog resumes self-breathing.
