The amount of water a cat can drink can be calculated as about 60ml of water per kilogram. For example, a cat with 4 kilograms of water must drink about 240ml of water a day.

Some parents may think that cans have high moisture content, and giving them soup cans every day can meet the amount of water. However, even if the water content of cans reaches more than 60%, by net weight, a 100g can can can can only consume up to 60ml of water. It is still far from the minimum daily water consumption of a cat. So don’t think that it can drink less water just because you eat the soup can.

can still be used as an auxiliary method. Usually, the moisture content of high-quality wet food is about 70%-80%, while dry food is only 5%-10%. Because of cats’ physiological reasons, they may prefer to get moisture from food. Cats like dynamic water to be higher than static water, and the flowing water can give them more fun drinking water. You can buy a water dispenser or put a large ice cube in the center of the water basin.

provides cats with a more convenient drinking experience, and drink water when they want to drink. Add some chicken soup or tuna sauce to the cat's water to add deliciousness.
